Jahan Epps, a native of Los Angeles, California, has established himself as a prominent figure in the real estate industry and an active member of his community. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jahan experienced the challenges and opportunities of the city firsthand, shaping his determination and drive for success.

Jahan’s journey began at Weems Elementary School, where he developed a strong foundation for his academic pursuits. He then attended Holy Name of Jesus Christ Elementary before continuing his education at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES) for junior high school. Jahan’s high school years were spent at Crenshaw High School, where he honed his leadership skills and embraced his passion for community engagement.

After graduating from high school, Jahan pursued higher education at West LA College, earning an Associate’s degree. It was during this time that he discovered his interest in the real estate market. In 2004, Jahan embarked on his professional career as a Real Estate Agent, utilizing his knowledge and expertise to assist clients in buying and selling properties.

Jahan’s dedication and commitment to his craft propelled him to new heights. In 2007, he obtained his Real Estate Broker license (Bre #1429337), solidifying his expertise in the field. With a focus on providing exceptional service to his clients, Jahan established JEpps Realty and Consulting in 2007, a successful business that has been thriving for over 16 years.

Beyond his real estate ventures, Jahan’s commitment to his community is evident through his involvement in various organizations and initiatives. He dedicated his time and energy as a volunteer Basketball Coach for the Ladera All-Stars from 2012 to 2020, nurturing young talent and instilling valuable life skills in his players. Jahan also played an active role in the Ladera Chapter of Top Teens of America from 1997 to 2000, fostering personal growth and community involvement among local teenagers. He has been a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity since 2014.

Furthermore, Jahan has been a longstanding supporter of the Challengers Boys and Girls Club from 1990 to 1997, providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth to thrive. He also participated in the NYSP USC/SW College program, furthering his education and expanding his horizons.

Jahan’s impact extends to the business realm as well. He has bought and sold over 100 properties throughout his career, with a remarkable 50 of them located within the district. By focusing on properties in his community, Jahan has not only contributed to the growth and development of the area but also helped numerous individuals and families achieve their homeownership dreams.

In addition to his real estate endeavors, Jahan ventured into the retail sector with the establishment of the Vacancy Avenue Clothing Business in 2020, bringing his entrepreneurial spirit to a new venture just outside his main business.

Most recently, Jahan expanded his business interests to include Florence Fresh Vegan Health Food Store as a Front End Investments partner. Through this venture, he has brought together 20-40 investors in the 8th District, promoting healthy living and supporting local businesses.
